It is time to start a new 12 by 12 album, so I thought I would customize the 4 by 6 window on the front. Gypsy Font was used for the monogram and for the layers behind the monogram. The "H" was flipped so the scroll would balance better. This is an entry for the Cricut Circle's weekly challenge where they asked you to create a project withe the starter cartridges that were included with your machine.

Two Snow Birds
This scrapbook page stars my little gals, they are my little snow birds ready to ski. The paper dolls are from Everyday Paper dolls and have peachy keen stamps for their faces. Ski jackets were dry embossed with my cuttlebug. Everyday paper dolls cartridge plus embossing are the requirements for Emma's Throwback Thursday's Challenge which I be entering with this project. Three Birds on Parade cartridge was used for the title and the snowflake journal spot.

It is Me
A scrapbook page of me for the B.A.B.Y. (Brads, Aqua, Butterfly, and You) Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge. I cut puzzle pieces with My Community and welded icons on the puzzle pieces to tell a little about me. My husband took this picture on the Mark Twain paddle boat at Disneyland.

Party Animal
This crab is crawling by with snappy birthday wishes. My card is for Peachy Keen's sketch challenge where they asked you to follow a sketch and pick monochromatic colors. The crab's face is stamped with PK-754 Critter Faces Set A medium.
Paper Flower Pomander
I made this flower pomander as an entry for the Cricut Circle January Monthly Challenge: Scraplift a circle blog project! A perk of the Cricut Circle is access to their Cricut Circle blog, which in my humble opinion is worth the membership fee alone. Such inspiration! So when asked to make one of their projects for a challenge is was more like, "Which one?"
For the challenge, they require you to use at least 2 or more cricut cuts. This project has 176 separate flower cuts. I chose the October 15 entry, Nancy Damiano's paper flower pomander as my project to scraplift. Nancy had used a cuttlebug daisy and chrysanthemum quiling kits to create her flowers. I just used my cricut and the Forever Young cartridge to make my flowers. Each flower is actually 4 flower cuts and pinned on a five inch Styrofoam ball with a floral pin. In addition, to qualify you must use at least two products from the sponsors of the Cricut Circle. I used Bazzill Basics for my card stock of choice on this project. The ribbon was attached to the top with some stick pins from the Your Family History Scrapbook kit by Creating Keepsakes.

Let's Party, Sponge Bob Style
Here are some decorations I made with my cricut and Sponge Bob cartridge for my daughter's slumber party. The banner says "party" and the font is from Life is a Beach. Many cuts of pink jelly fish tied with thread were hanging throughout the house, a few are hanging from the light fixture over the table. I cut a large Sponge Bob to play "pin the tie on Sponge Bod" game too.

Whale Tails
Here is a scrapbook page capturing the last time I will set foot on a boat. I got so sick and was horrified that the children on the boat were more interested in this sick lady (me) than the amazing whales that were popping out of the ocean right before our eyes. This project is for the Cricut Circle's Weekly Challenge #16: Cute As a Button Sketch Challenge! Rules are to follow their sketch, add stamps, and buttons. The whale is from Just Because Cards, and the "tails" is a "details" cut from Graphically Speaking. That is my favorite whale... a girl has to have her favorite whale cut. Wave boarders are from Life is a Beach.

Baby, It's Cold
Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #15: Feeling Frosty! The challenge was to use the following materials: white paint, metal, and a snowflake cut on your project this week. I used white paint mixed with glitter for the "snow" that Mr. Snowbird is standing on. To incorporate the metal in the project, I dug out some metal ring tags for a place to journal my photos. Snowflake cuts are surrounding Mr. Bird because it's cold outside.

Let's Party
Who wouldn't like these happy guys at the birthday party? The birthday group's faces are from Peachy Keen's, PK-570, Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment. This card is an entry for Peachy Keen's Challenge #43 where the project must incorporate elements from a provided sketch. The faces were stamped on cricut cuts from Smiley Cards and Straight from the Nest.
A Card for Jinger
Provo Craft will be on HSN on Jan 20, 2011, and has a challenge to make a card with Don Juan cartridge and Anna Griffin products. (There were other cartridge choices but I did not have them in my collection.... gasp!) So, tune in to HSN and see if my card is somewhere on the set. Provo Craft is scheduled to launch something new, I wonder what that will be? My guess is a "new" and improved Gypsy.
The Love Bandit
Yippee it is Throwback Thursday Challenge time again. Emma, at My Creative Time, runs this challenge to inspire you to use the older cricut cartridges. This challenge you could pick any older cartridge but need to include a heart cut somewhere on your project. I made the cute raccoon from Create A Critter, his stolen heart is from Doodlecharms, card base from Twinkle Toes, and the journal spot is from Fabulous Finds.

Ellie is 9 !
This darling elephant is from the Twinkle Toes cartridge. She is going to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday and is carrying her balloon with a number 9 on it to the party. This is my entry for the Cricut Circle's Weekly Challenge #14: Getting In Shape! The challenge was to use a shape other than a rectangle, include a number somewhere, and use some bling. The shape card is from Wild Card, and Ellie's balloon can be found in the Celebrations cartridge.

Fish Bowl Shape Card
This little gold fish is from my new Four Legged Friends cartridge which I HAD to have because of that cute dachshund cut. Mr. Fish layered very nicely so I look forward to playing with Four Legged Friends in the future. The fish bowl was welded into the a shape card with my trusty Gypsy. The stamp is a studio g wooden stamp that was purchased for 50 cents at Big Lots and has a fish bowl on it that was masked off with scotch tape.

My Pink Stamper's Design Call, January 2011
What an exciting way to start the New Year, My Pink Stamper's Design Team Call! My Pink Stamper, Robyn, has so many talented people creating for her it would be an honor to be a member of this design team. That being said, the likelihood of making the team is slim to none. A girl has to dream, right? Robyn's challenge was to create a project with these colors: Green, Pink, and Brown. With those colors in my head, I thought a frog project would suit those color choices. I made this shape card from Mini Monsters cricut cartridge. She is so cute with her pink spots! Inside the card I used the "hoppy birthday" stamp from My Pink Stamper's Punny-licious Set.

Cricut Circle Magazine, Thrift Store Find Challenge
On the way to visit my in-law's, I stopped in the Salvation Army Thrift Store looking for some goodie for the Cricut Circle thrift store find challenge. These wooden trays caught my eye, I thought I could make a shadow box. Perhaps in a later life, these trays were type-set boxes or maybe some old organization tray for a desk. With my new Give a Hoot cart in hand, I thought I would make some earthy, peace loving, nature themed shadow box. As you can see, I switched gears to accommodate my dear daughter's funky style. All of the cuts are from Rock Princess except the deer who is from Give a Hoot. The box has some of my daughter's bracelets and rings on display for some extra bling. This is proudly on display in my Daughter's room, aka, the purple palace.
