CRICUT EVERYDAY CONTEST! The newest cartridge to the Cricut Circle is the Cricut Everyday, and this is the cartridge required for the Magazine Challenge this month. Entries must create something that you would use to define yourself at Meet-ups, Crops, the Stampede or any other circle event. I decided to make some glamours charms for my Circle Bracelet of my favorite Cricut things. The charms are my little Cuttlebug machine, Gypsy logo, and my favorite cartridge Create A Critter. I layered the paper charms with coats of Aleene's Paper Glaze and added jump rings.

Heather's Trinket Box
I decorated this paper mache box for my gal to store some of her treasures. This is an entry for Peachy Keen's Let's Face it Friday Challenge. They challenged us to create a handmade spring inspired gift with Peachy Keen Face stamps. For this sweet girl enjoying her day in an April shower, I used the PK-640 Princess Face Assortment. These stamps make the kids on the Once Upon a Princess cartridge look so darling.

Jasmine and Aladdin Scrapbook Page
This scrapbook page features the Dreams Come True Cricut Cartridge. The Disney cartridges are very
tedious to assemble cuts but the results are fantastic. I am entering this in the Cricut Circle's Weekly Challenge #21: Animal Magnetism Challenge! The Circle asked for a project to be made about an animal, include an animal cut, use animal print, etc. Project must also contain at least 2 Cricut images to qualify. My animal is the monkey Abu and I included a tiger print stamp on this page.

My Garden Scrapbook Page
This simple page was made with Walk in My Garden. I took these pictures when I got this cartridge... it has only taken me 4 years to scrap it. Are you laughing at me? Emma(http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2011/02/throwback-thursday-challenge-episode.html) had throwback challenge to use this cart, I thought of this project I had in my crafting cue.

Lucky Banner
I hope I am lucky... I am entering this in Cricut Circle's February Monthly Challenge to win what I am calling a "pile of cricut imagine cartridges". I don't have an Imagine yet, but I have been saving for one. The challenge entry must be a banner and have at least 3 cuts. I used lots of cuts but the stars of this banner are the leprechaun and his pot of gold which are from Simply Charmed. The font is from Storybook.
banner is tied to bead necklaces |
The charms are made from "gold coin candy foil" that are covering paper circles weighted with a penny. |
The rainbow and cloud are attached with a brad so you can adjust them so it is horizontal with respect to the ground. |

Bee Mine
Here is the challenge from the Cricut Circle: Valentine’s Day is just a few days away and we thought it would be fun to challenge you to put your scrappy skills to use by creating an extra special note for someone you adore. It can be a friend, your mom, a lover, your child, a neighbor . . . anyone! Your project must include a heart and embossing (we want to see you incorporate those Cuttlebug embossing folders). Project must also contain at least 2 Cricut cuts to qualify.
Simple, right? I found the cute bee on Pooh and Friends and the "mine" on Simply Charmed. The circle and hearts are from George and Basic Shapes. My Cuttlebug heart folder was used to emboss the circle and Mr. Bee's wings are embossed with tiny hearts. I just love a corny card.

Dachshund Love
I just had to share this card, because this dachshund cut in the Four Legged Friends cartridge had me shopping at midnight at The Wal Mart's Black Friday Sale. I never do that, but he is so cute I just had to have him. My puppy is soooo long he wraps around the card! Happy Valentine's Day my friends-

A Cool Card
This simple card was made for a fun challenge at The Pink Stamper. She asked us to make a project with black and your favorite color. My favorite color is yellow. I used to have a yellow Miata and loved it.... because I could always find it in a parking lot.

LUV BUGS take flight
I have been busy making valentine treat bags for my gals. This is also a challenge project for Cricut Circle, use 4 Cricut cuts and incorporate something edible. Ziploc bags where topped with card stock and decorated with a bug from Simply Charmed. The paper bow is from Sweethearts. The scallop circle is from Mini Monograms and stamped with a "LUV BUG" clear dollar stamp. Home Decor was used to cut the patterned paper. Soon it will be time for these bugs to fly away to their new owners. I shall bring my tissue to dry my eyes when I see them torn open and tossed to the wind. Be free my sweet luv bugs!
Tweet, Tweet, My Birdhouse house is done!
I watched Laura from "The Paper Trail" blogspot create a birdhouse mini. With that inspiration, I put my creative hat on to create one with my Cricut machine. To create the box, I used chipboard and found these wooden pieces at Joann's for the roof. The roof pieces were painted with a two step crackle medium and acrylic paint. Album pages are made with an envelope cut from my Cricut. The envelope was glued only on the corners so I could have pockets on the bottom of the pages. Envelope flaps were used to attach Ciruct cuts to make room for more pictures. I was planning to make my own flowers but those "prima" flowers at Micheal's were on sale this week, so, I caved in and bought them. I feel like I went on an authentic bird hunt to find my bird on the perch, finally finding my bird at a floral shop.
Cartridges Used:
Fence- Songbird
Gate- Freshly Picked
Birdhouse hole- Holiday Cakes
page bases- Going Places
insert inside envelope- Going Places

Santa Baby 2.1
I am not done with Christmas projects. The good this about waiting so long is that I was able to get some embellishments for a big discount. This is a project called Santa Baby 2 by Kathy at http://www.paperphenomenon.blogspot.com. BUT I was not able to buy the kit or even get the same materials so this is different than Kathy's but very similar at the same time. Cricut Gingerbread cartridge was used to make flaps for page pockets.
Front of House, this is a box that the lid comes of to store a mini album |
Back of the House |
Front Cover |
Sample of page, the red page folds and goes into a pocket. The cabin stamp on the circle opens for more pictures and journaling. You can also see the back of a gingerbread cookie flap. |
An inner page, the gingerbread house cookie pulls out to reveal another pocket page. |
Let it Snow
These cuts are made with the Winter Frolic and Winter Woodland Cartridges. I just love that kid on the sled, he looks like he is having a blast. This is for the Cricut Circle Weekly challenge: use WHATEVAH shape you would like, but be sure to repeat it three times on your project. Project must also include spray ink and must be newly created for this challenge. My three cuts are snowflakes and are sprayed with my spray ink.

Good Egg
This good egg is ready to spread good cheer. All cuts are from Just Because Cards. The face stamp is from Peachy Keen and the sentiment is from my new Color Me Happy Stamp Set from My Creative Time. This card is an entry to the Throwback Tuesday challenge (Make a card with Just Because Cards or Wild Card and include a stamped saying.) for Emma at My Creative Time.
