A Little Treasure

The Cricut Circle Magazine July Challenge is to create ANY project with the new exclusive Pop-Up Neighborhood Cricut Cartridge.  This is a wonderful cartridge with many extras.  I have made a few scrapbook pages with this cartridge but I really wanted to challenge myself and make something with the pop-up feature.  While I was looking at the images, I thought I could tell some of the stories about my father in law.  He loves to tell stores of his youth and I though I would make a little "treasure" to store some of his stories for future generations.  I think children really love the magic of a pop-up.

A New Grand Daughter Gift

Some dear friends of mine just became grandparents for the first time.  I made this name album to celebrate the joy of their new grand daughter.  She has an unique name so it is extra fun to make a personalized album.  Welcome to the world new baby Kaiia :)

Circut Circle Weekly Challenge # 36

For this challenge you must use 2 cricut image cuts and include fabric in your project in some way.  I thought this kite card on the E2 preloaded cartridge Just a Note would look cute with a fabric tail.  I added some clouds and sun from the Pop-Up Neighborhood cartridge.

My Pink Stamper Design Team Call Entry

My Pink Stamper is hosting a challenge for a chance to be on her design team.  I REALLY enjoy my Cricut and My Pink Stamper Stamps are designed to use with the Cricut... how great is that!

The Challenge:  Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors... Orange, Turquoise, Green, and Brown.

Those colors reminded my of my children's fish.  There is always a question in my house concerning if  the fish has been fed or not.  So, I made this adorable sign to post the fish's thoughts.  She says, "Yummy" (MPS- Simple Sweet Occasions) that means she has a full tummy.

Road To CHA Banner for Cricut Circle

I made this for a challenge at the Cricut Circle's Blog.  They asked us to create a banner on a Birthday Bash pennant base.  I made this to represent the state of California and had a blast creating this project. Surfin' and Chirpin' with Cricut, sounds fun to me!

Peachy Keen Sketch Callenge # 56

I made this card to enter in the Challenge on  my brand spankin' new Imagine.  I am really impressed with this machine and my Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids face looks right at home on this strawberry. 

Throwback Thursday Challenge with Just Because Cards

For this Throwback Thursday Challenge you must use Just Because cards (or Wild card) cartridge and incorporate some emossing.  I love the look of embossing and plan to.. then I forgot :(  But, no worries, I was able to take the tag off my card and dry emboss it with my cuttlebug.  I like how that accents my stamp.
