Jaded Blossom August Sneak Peek Day Three :: Christmas Kitty Sock

Hello! Welcome to day three of Jaded Blossom's Sneak Peeks! Today we are creating with two coordinating stamp sets, "Kitty Dress" Up and "Meow and Forever" stamps.  I tucked the kitty in the sock that is also new today from SVG Cutting Files, Christmas Stocking Treat Box.  I stamped the kitty's hat first and then made a mask of the shape with Stamp Mask Paper.  Next I stamped the kitty over the mask I made and then fussy cut out the cat with her hat.  I filled a Jaded Blossom Clear Bag with kitty treats.  The tag was made with the Candy Wrap Die and added some holly sprinkles from Doodlebug Designs.

Here is a closer look at the kitty.  I colored her with Copic Markers.
Fur- C1, C2, C4, C7.
Ears, nose, toes - R20.
Hat R24, R29

Jaded Blossom August Sneak Peeks Day Two :: Travel Cards

Hello! Welcome to day two of Jaded Blossom's sneaky peeks. Today we are showcasing two new stamp sets, Sweet Travels and United States Map. For my first card, I created a shaker window with the map from the United States Map. The background is water colored and the frame was created with Card Mat Dies and Stitched Square Dies. The arrow is from the New Sweet Travels stamp set.  My lucky duck brother and his wife are retiring to Florida! (I tease him that he is going to live at Del Boca Vista, the place were Jerry Seinfeld's parents retired.)  I am totally visiting Del Boca Vista!

Today is also my post over at Digi My World. They have this cute digi traveling girl, Travel the World.  She goes perfectly with the new sentiment from Sweet Travels. The Card base is made with Jaded Blossom's Scalloped Square Dies and Stitched Square Dies.

Jaded Blossom August Sneak Peek Day One :: Backyard Fun Layout

Hello Everyone! Welcome to day one of Jaded Blossom's August peeks. Today we have a new die set and Picture This 2 stamps.  For my project, I made a scrapbook page. I like to make pages for my not so crafty sister. The mat sized for a standard 4 by 6 photo so  my sis can just add a photo. She does not look at blogs (GASP) so she will be surprised when I send this to her~

I used one of the new label dies to accent the photo.

The fence is made with mini tag dies and the boarder dies. Fun and Play sentiments are from the NEW Picture This 2 stamp set.

Now on to my project!! Here is what I made..

A school bus! This is so cute, I might just have to make another one for myself. All the animals are on their way to school with an apple for their teacher.

This was really easy to make... I cut the bus shape and then added the front and back of the bus with Jaded Blossom's Layered Journal die. I attached front and back panels with 1/4 in paper strips that I scored. The base to hold the lollipops inside is made with the journal die too.

The worm's apple is from Jaded Blossom's Fall Die set. The trim on the bus is cut with the boarder dies.  Below is a close up of the mouse bus driver.

Here is the other side, Rex the dog is carrying his apple in a dog bowl. The wheels on the bus (they go round and round) are from Jaded Blossom's Stitched Circle dies.

Here is the back of the bus... Miss Hedgehog is so cute in the window!

A lovable Skunk

Hello everyone! Today is my post over at the Stamp Annie Thing Blog.  My card today features the skunk from the lil series.  To make the background, I stamped the skunk and then cut out a mask with the same image. After I applied the mask, I inked the background with distress ink, Salty Ocean and Mowed Grass. The skunk is colored with Copic Markers.  One of the sentiment stamps is on a mini tag die from Jaded Blossom.
