It is day there of Jaded Blossom's June stamp release! Yay!

Today I have an "Under the Sea" banner to share.

 I love the witty stamps in today's sneak peek and just let my imagination go! 

  I cut all these cuties with my Cricut Explore and placed them on the bottom of the Wine Tag Die. I folded the top of the die over to make a sleeve to thread the banner rope through.

Hello- My hubby has a an April birthday and I love to make custom cards.  My husband has a similar sense of humor and enjoyed cartoons from The Far Side, by Gary Larson. I crafted this card with my Cricut, with a joke from The Far Side.  The "godzilla" is from Create A Critter.  The car and card base are from Smiley Cards.  I hand cut the window trim on the car to make the driver look larger than life. Well, this card cracks me up!

Hello! There is a tag challenge going on over at Fun "n Flair Stamps.  After looking at the beautiful samples, I just knew I wanted to make a tag featuring the sweet mouse from the Miss Shayla at Christmas Time.  The tag was cut with my Cricut from the Sentimentals cartridge at 5 inches. The swiss cheese wedge is from Create a Critter and is cut at 2.75 inch.

I just used a post it note so the  "Christmas" could
be masked off.

Hoppy Frogs and a Fairy

Hello- There are two challenges at the Peachy Keen Connection that you don't want to miss out on.

Challenge #1- include paper piecing, ribbon or twine, and some kind of sparkle or bling on your project.

My Frog card was made with the new Peachy Keen Stamp Club for June.  The log is from Create A Critter and the green grass was punched with the Martha Stewart Icicle punch.

Challenge #2- create a project with your Peachy Keen Stamps and include "things that fly". 

I made this key chain with the same stamp set, Peachy Keen Stamp Club for June. These are the keys to my husband's "muscle car".  This is one of his project cars, I can't wait to see his face...  hehe. 

I hope you get a chance to make a project.  Both challenges will remain open until Sunday, June 10th at 11:59 p.m. (CST). Jungle Party Card

This monkey from Sweethearts Cricut cartrige is swinging in the jungle.  He is on a "vine" ribbon and is attached to a palm tree.  The cloud background is a stamp from Peacky Keen, PK-107 Cloudy Day.  I am so glad to have this stamp in my collection for outdoor (or jungle) scenes.

This set has seperate eyes and mouths... which makes it easy to customized
your die cuts.  I just added nostrils with a marker.

Hello Jinger and The Scrapbooking Queen

I made this card for a design call at Jinger Adams' blog.  The design team will be creating projects with Jinger's new product line! It sounds like crafty fun to me. 

For this card, I used Letter Envy Cricut cartridge for the background and sentiment.  The bee is from my favorite cartridge Create A Critter.  The card base is a standard A2 size but I cut some of the bottom of the card to frame the card better.  This way, no extra postage is needed to mail your "Hello" to a good friend ;)

Lucky Dog

Today I made a quick 8 x 8 scrapbook page to share with you.  I stamped the rainbow, cloud, "lucky!" sentiment, and hat using Peachy Keen's February Stamp Club set.  The paper dog is cut from Create A Critter with a darling stamped face from the PK 757 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Assortment.

The Challenge: Whenever the New Year rolls around, we tend to do a little self-evaluation and decide what we want to do differently in the year to come. For the challenge this week, we want you to think about your CREATIVE resolutions and record them in some way.

Easy Treat Box

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog's weekly challenge this week is to create a project with the words "thank you" or "thanks".  I made this large tag for a pre-made treat box (the box was 50 cents.. how can you go wrong?).  I will be making a mini loaf of pumpkin bread today and package this up to give our neighbor Miss Sandy.

I have to say.. this project many not seem like much.  BUT I used Cricut Craft Room and was able to get my Imagine to CUT!  I even change the size of the pre designed image from the Imagine More cartridge.  I am just giddy- 

Fab 50s Scrapbook Page

I created this scrapbook page for the September Magazine Challenge at the Cricut Circle.  For the challenge, you need to use Echo Park paper or stickers and your favorite cartridge.  I was drawn to Echo Park's Happy Days collection and remembered I had some photos of dear daughter from a 50s party.  My favorite cartridge of all time is Create a Critter... which you don't think of using when designing a 1950s theme project.  Would you believe there are four cuts from Create a Critter on my scrapbook page?  (The "fab" title, the stamp shape turned journal frame, the "retro" design by the ice cream, and the flowers on the glasses.) That is the great thing about our cartridges, there are SO many hidden jewels!  The rest of my cuts are from Nifty Fifties and the background element is from Elegant Edges.  The photo corners are made from a punch.

The glasses have plastic lenses, added a straw to to the Echo Park sundae sticker by using a boarder strip from the collection. The Imagine was used to print some 50s turqoise to match the collection.

Hid the words on the Nifty Fifties motel sign with my Gypsy. "Second" is the font from Nifty Fifites while the other words are stickers form the Echo Park Collection. 

My BFF loves snails... NOT!

I am taking care of my BFF's house while she is on vacation.  I made this card to "welcome her home" because I am sure she can't wait to get back to her assault on the snails in her garden, ha, ha.   This project is showing some of my favorite things, Create a Critter cricut cartridge, my Cuttlebug embossing folders, inking, my Peachy Keen Face stamps, and most importantly making a custom project for my friends and family. This is the challenge for the Pinkalicious Blog Hop for August, show some of YOUR favorite crafting things.  Be sure to check it out and share your projects too-

I must admit, I never thought I would like a banner in my house.  I made a Banner for St. Patrick's Day that has been up since YESTERDAY!  LOL!   My hutch feels kinda naked without a banner now. Well, Spring was here a couple of years ago.  I had printed up lots of photos and then never scrapbooked them.  So when Robyn from My Pink Stamper had a blog hop with a spring theme, I decided to join.  I used my cricut and a set of MPS stamps too.

Can You Believe, A Paper Bag Album?

This album was made on a paper bag base.  The techniques is from Kathy Files (http://paperphenomenon.blogspot.com/2011/02/paperbag-mania.html).  Kathy went crazy with her mini, but I basically took the technique to expand the bags, added tags, and decorated with my trusty cricut.  For the flaps, I cut index cards on the From My Kitchen cricut cartridge.  Most the animals cuts are from Create A Critter.  The paper line is from DCWV, The Green Stack.  Not pictured is the tag that fits into the paper bag, you can fit a full size photo on those mats.  This mini can hold TONS of photos.  Thanks for looking.

This crab is crawling by with snappy birthday wishes.  My card is for Peachy Keen's sketch challenge where they asked you to follow a sketch and pick monochromatic colors.  The crab's face is stamped with PK-754 Critter Faces Set A medium. 

The Love Bandit

Yippee it is Throwback Thursday Challenge time again.  Emma, at My Creative Time, runs this challenge to inspire you to use the older cricut cartridges.  This challenge you could pick any older cartridge but need to include a heart cut somewhere on your project.  I made the cute raccoon from Create A Critter, his stolen heart is from Doodlecharms, card base from Twinkle Toes, and the journal spot is from Fabulous Finds.
