Wrapping Paper Tube Mini Album

I wanted to share this quick mini I made using a wrapping paper cardboard tube.  The pockets are roomy and could accommodate more tags.  I plan to embellish more when I get pictures placed in the album.  The tags are from the Sweet Treats cartridge, which in my humble opinion, has the best tags because they have toppers.  An additional pull was placed on the tags, a peppermint, was cut from Holiday Cakes.  Holiday Cakes was used to cut the sentiment on the cover.  The word "merry" on the cover was cut with my sizzix dies.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge # 8

This weeks challenge was to follow their sketch provided with a vintage theme using 3 vintage elements and at least 2 cuts.  I love vintage and shabby chic and made this design to hang in my sewing room.  Now I need to find a frame AND a sewing room!  (Aww, someday.)  My Mom taught me to sew and I used buttons from her button stash for this project.  It was a great treat as a kid to sort through mom's button box.

Cut Summary:  dress form- French Manor, sewing machine- Country Life, thread- Happily Every After, phrase- Nursery Rhyme,  tags- Sweet Treats, layers for flowers- Forever Young, lace circle- Holiday Cakes.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #4, Birthday Sketch

The Cricut Circle, or as I call it Cricut Club to people that are not into Cricut, asked us to follow a sketch.  I have never used a sketch and found it to be rather nice.  I helps you to get right down to creating because you have a map to follow.  You  must use 2 cuts and incorporate buttons.  My buttons are the "sprinkles" on the cupcake.  I was thrilled to find the mini buttons is my cropper hopper embellishment box.  I have no idea when I got them...  which is kinda scary.  Anyway, here is the layout I created.  It is of my sweet gals and puppy at the puppy's birthday party.
