Pink Mermaid

Hi Everyone! I have a card today made with one of the newest stamp sets from Stamp Annie Thing called Mermaids.  I stamped one of the mermaids and used two of the sentiments included in the stamp set.  I thought it would be fun to color her with bright pink hair. (I should not encourage this as my teen daughter would love to have pink hair.)
The image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and a white gel pen for hi-lights. If you are just starting coloring like me, these are nice markers and a fraction of the cost of Copics. They are also packaged in color families which is very helpful.
Hair- PL1, BP2, BP6
Skin- FS3, TN2
Rock- GB8, GB10, EB8
Fin and top- BT1, BT2, BT4, BT5

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!

Ms Mermaid

Hello. Today I have a card made with the beautiful Stamp Annie Thing's Mermaids Set. The card base was cut with my Cricut with one of my favorite shapes from the Wild Card Cartridge. The image and background are colored with Copic Markers. I have been looking at this card, with a fist full of shells from the beach, bling, and glitter. But I think she needs to be the main focus... "to make a splash".

Thanks for stopping and be sure to come back for the Hello Kitty Blog hop :)

For my project, I altered a candy tin with one of the mermaid stamps and colored her to look like "Ariel".  I found this tin at the 99 cent store of all places, and just love the colors for the mermaid.
