Buy Some Shoes, Gift Card Holder

Well, I should be doing laundry....but I would rather play in the craft room. Here is the details of the challenge and the colors to pick.

I made a gift card holder.  I found some paper that had most of the colors and added eggplant ink and lined the envelope with the same color. Great little gift for any "fashionista" in your life.

Supplies:

Peachy Sketch Challenge 27

Happy Friday! There is a new Peachy Keen Challenge and this week it is a sketch challenge! Make a card or layout with your Peachy Keen Stamps.  Your project must be new and linked up by 7/25, 11:59 PM, EST.  You can see the sketch and the Design Team's inspiration, here.

Here is my layout using the sketch.  The cheerleader's face is from PK-590 Blushing Bride Interchangeable Faces.  I made a journal card to tuck behind the photo and put "You are always in 1st Place with me!" from PKSC-05 on the top. My daughter was sad that her team did not place high in their competition.  I am just proud of her for having the guts to perform in front of such a large crowd! Aw, she is 1st Place with me!

Supplies and Cricut Cartridges:

Cheerleader- Teen Scene
Journal Card- From My Kitchen
Base circle- Mini Monograms
Banner- Jubilee
Stickers- Creative Imaginations, Cheer
Patterned Paper- MAMBI sheets

Fore my Family

The July Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge: Create an activity or project of some sort with your Cricut products that your family can enjoy together.  My family? They love to eat and play golf.  I found this dimpled bowl at the dollar store and it reminds me of a golf ball.  I made the golf paper doll from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, along with some accessories. "Fore" was welded on my Gypsy with the Jubilee font. The base is from Elegant Edges cartridge.  The golf tees can be removed so you can remove the tag and wash the bowl.

Stamps used from Peachy Keen Stamps:
Face Stamp: PKSC-05 May
Cloud Background: PK-107 Cloudy Day

Chill Out

Time to Chill Out! I followed a sketch for this card that is posted at the Cricut Circle.  Following a sketch is fun because the design work has been done for you.  My frozen treats are from my Imagine Yummy cartridge, along with the tag.  I also printed off some paper from the same cartridge.  I picked out faces for my Popsicle from Peachy Keen stamps.  This set is the  Cornies Face Assortment. My sentiment stamp, "Chill Out!", is from Peachy Keen stamps, PK-115.

Be sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Store. They are having sale this Friday!!
Finally Friday Sale in honor of Friday the 13th, Peachy Keen is  giving away one of Mini Ghost stamp with any order over $13.00 (after the site-wide 13% discount)! Exclusions include gift certificates, Clip it Up, and Kit subscriptions.

Follow your Heart Mini

I have been dying to play with these stamps from Market Street Stamps! They are hosting a "block party" where you can post your crafty creation at their blog. (and a good reason to play with my new stamps)  This mini was made for my daughter.  I adore the playful, artsy look of the stamps I featured in the project:  MSS-KG-04 Love, and MSS-KG Foodie Doodles.  The base of my album was made with my Cricut.  I just lined up the shapes and ran the middle through my sewing machine.  The paper is from The Paper Studio, Ooh! La! La!.

I made this card for a sketch Challenge over at the Peachy Keen Ning site.  The challenge will be open until Sunday July 8th at 11:59 p.m. CST.  The prize is one of their new stamps sets! PK-124 Thank You Dolls!  The doll and the sentiment, "BAH... hair is overrated", on this card are from the PK-124 stamp set.  The baby buggy is from the Cricut Cartridge Baby Steps.

Wanna Hangout?

I spend a lot of time in my laundry room and am not sure how many will "Wanna Hangout" with me.  (I should not tell you so much about my glamorous life!) This was very easy to make, using the Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month set for July.  The set has the sentiment, t-shirt, sun, clothespin stamps, and much more!  The jeans are actually part of the bib overalls that are on this sweet boy character stamp. I just stamped on blue paper and cut the piece of the clothing needed.  The clothespin stamps are one of my favorites because you can add the look of a mini clothespin without the bulk. How cute would these be with baby clothing die cuts! The cloud stamp is available in one new stamp sets that will be availalbe to purchase on July 5, at Peachy Keen Stamps.
