Happy Wedding Day!

Hello there! Just posting a card that I made for my niece for her wedding day.  I picked out a "wedding dress" at the Silhouette Online Store, Wedding Dress Card by Loni Harris.  Her grandmother wore a dress like this and I love the retro feel.

The sentiments are from Peachy Keen, PK-196 Bird Sentiments. (cute wedding and anniversary stamps in the is set.) This is also my entry for the Anything Goes Challenge that Peachy Keen is hosting. Be sure to link your project up by July 3.

Chibi Cheerleader!

Hello! Today I have project featuring a cutting file from SVG Cutting Files.  She is the Chibi Cheerleader and will be at the available this Friday.  Micheal's Craft Store has a whole section in their dollar bins with cheer themed items. I found this notebook and decorated the front with this cutie pie cheerleader.  This would be fun to make several and match the hair color of some of the real "chibi" girls in your life. (I had to look up the word chibi.. it means little! he he)

Have a great day!

You Have a Headache?

Ohhh... I hope not.  Today I have a project for Stamp Annie*Thing Stamps. I used the dolls from Voo Doo You Love to make this card. The images are colored with Copic markers and the pattern paper is form Basic Grey's Fact or Fiction. I get a kick out of the girl withe the pins in her head... I get migraine headaches so I can relate to her.  The card is decorated with Prima flowers and straight pins from my sewing supplies.

The main cut is "Jessica the Cheerleader" and she will be available for purchase this Friday.  I love to add accents to my die cuts and gave Jessica some shoe laces with crotchet thread. I added a sentiment from a chipboard sticker set that has a lot of darling cheerleader phrases and accessories.   I could make a whole cheer squad of cards now, ha ha.  The file for the card is called Trapezoid Card Base and I used my cutting software to add a shadow to the card insert.  This cheerleader is would brighten anyone's day.  Her face is from one of the NEW Peachy Keen Faces for June, PK-1300 Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment.

For My Grad

Hello! For the month of June, I will be a guest designer at SVG Cutting Files! For my first Sunday post, I could pick any file. I thought it would be fun to make a gift box and card for my gal who will be graduating middle school in a few weeks. Middle School? I remember taking her to kindergarten like it was yesterday.

The graduation cap is actually the top part of the Cap and Gown Box. I made a tassel out of embroidery floss to match her school colors. The card base is SVG Cutting Files' Wave Card Base. One of the girls from The Grad file is jumping for joy on the card front. She is on an action wobble so in person she is jumping if you bump the card.
