Pink Mermaid

Hi Everyone! I have a card today made with one of the newest stamp sets from Stamp Annie Thing called Mermaids.  I stamped one of the mermaids and used two of the sentiments included in the stamp set.  I thought it would be fun to color her with bright pink hair. (I should not encourage this as my teen daughter would love to have pink hair.)
The image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and a white gel pen for hi-lights. If you are just starting coloring like me, these are nice markers and a fraction of the cost of Copics. They are also packaged in color families which is very helpful.
Hair- PL1, BP2, BP6
Skin- FS3, TN2
Rock- GB8, GB10, EB8
Fin and top- BT1, BT2, BT4, BT5

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!

Ms Mermaid

Hello. Today I have a card made with the beautiful Stamp Annie Thing's Mermaids Set. The card base was cut with my Cricut with one of my favorite shapes from the Wild Card Cartridge. The image and background are colored with Copic Markers. I have been looking at this card, with a fist full of shells from the beach, bling, and glitter. But I think she needs to be the main focus... "to make a splash".

Thanks for stopping and be sure to come back for the Hello Kitty Blog hop :)

Good Morning!  Today I have a card that I made for SVG Cutting Files.  I used the Paper Doll Set A and the new Magician Add On Set.  The Magician set will be at the store this Friday.  I think this set is so cute! I used all the accessories on the card to  make this scene.  This poor guy has too many tricks going on! The card base is the Center Step Edged Bracket Card Base.

Garden Tag

Hello Everyone! I have a sweet tag today that I created for Stamp Annie Thing's Blog.  I just adore this little girl in her garden.  My family is very much into gardening so an image like this just makes me smile. All the images on this project are from Here's the Dirt stamp set.  I even used the stamp set to make the background paper for the tag.
I colored the images with my growing collection of Spectrum Noir markers.

Have a great day!

Happy School Book

Hi! I had some time to craft this evening so I thought I would play along at Jaded Blossom's August Challenge.  The theme is "Back to School".  I have been admiring the Kawaii Nerdy School at SVG Cutting Files and thought they would be perfect with my Jaded Blossom stamps.
I cut Ms. Pencil and added her to the front of the 3D Book Box.  I added some curly "pencil" lines with my Martha Stewart Loop Punch and of course gems for her glasses are a must.

Apple's School House

Hello! My project today is for SVG Cutting Files' New Challenge.  This month the theme is "Anything but a Card".  I used the 3d School House Treat Box file to make this project.  This really goes together easily.  I enlarged the door and added an apple from Kawaii Apple Topper and Barrel to sit on the front steps.  What a smart apple!

Here is the school house with the roof removed.  There is plenty of room for a small gift or candy.

So.. be sure to play along! If you don't have a big collection of SVG Cutting Files to be sure to snag a free file and play along.  There is a gift certificate prize for the random draw winner! Be sure to link your project up by September 14.

Snack Time!

Hello- I have a fun slider card to share with you.  When I saw the Peachy Keen Stamps Set, PK-127 Sandwich Fun! I was on the search for the perfect bag of chips.  (well a paper version)  This is the Bag of Chips Slide Card from SVG Cutting Files.  To make the chips, I used my score board but left the center smooth for  my face stamp. I love that goofy face on the chip.

Here is the card open:

Birthday Trio

Good morning! I am sharing my cards that were over at the Stamp Annie Thing Blog today.  I have been really having fun coloring the "party girl" from the latest release. The three cards are  made from the same stamp set, Wish Big.

The card bases are from the Mini Note Card Set from SVG Cutting Files.  I used my Silhouette Cameo with the Designers Edition software to cut the cards out.  The images are colored with Copic markers and the edges are distress inked with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar ink.

Kawaii Caterpillar

Hello! Today I am sharing my project that I made for SVG Cutting Files.  The file is called the Kawaii Caterpillar Shaped Card.  The leaf part of the card is welded on the left.  The card will stand upright by itself. (But then my stamped sentiment would be slanted so I did not take a picture like that.)

The sentiment is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-197 Baby Buzz Sentiments.

This is my fist post today, see you soon with a birthday card set.

Bark Bark Challenge Time

Hello! Did you see the new stamps Peachy Keen has at the store? They are on sale this week for 25% off! YAY!

I am hosting a challenge for Peachy Keen this release.  Make a project with "everyday" office supplies and your Peachy Keen Stamps.  Share at the Peachy Keen Ning site to be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate.  Many of the DT made samples for the Challenge.  They are so creative!

Here is my card:

I used a file tab, graph paper, paper clip, and staples.  (All stolen from my husband's desk... ha ha)

The adorable dog and sentiment is from the NEW PKSC-20 set.  I stamped the graph paper with the  PK-1331 Dog Background Stamp. Keeping with the office theme, I found this Postage Samp Card Base  at SVG Cutting Files.

I hope you have time to join the challenge this week.  Be sure to link your project HERE by August 12, 2013.

Party Lion

Hi this is my second post today...
(some people don't want to do laundry he he)

There is a shaped card challenge going on at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. I love to make shaped cards and thought the Lion from Create A Critter 2 would make a perfect birthday card for a child.

Face Stamp- Peachy Keen Stamps PK-751 Animal Faces
Sentiment- Stamp Annie Thing Wish Big
Paper- My Minds Eye Hootenanny
Cardstock- Coredinations

Thanks for taking a peak and my Party Lion... off to the laundry room :(

Just Be You

Good Morning! A am playing along at the Farm Fresh Friday "Gettin Wiggy With It" Challenge.  The Greeting Farm is celebrating their 5th Birthday!  Time to put your hair color on... the twist, no brunette, blonde, or redheads allowed.  I colored my sweet Hatter Bean with Spectrum Noir markers and gave her funky blue hair.  She was a limited edition stamp and I don't see her at the store anymore. :(

The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle, Just Because 6 x 6 pad.  I thought the "Just be You" was perfect for Hatter Bean with blue hair.  The paper has little tea cups!

Admit One For Fun

Good Morning! I have a card to share with you that I posted at the Stamp Annie Thing's Blog. This card was made with  Fun Starts Here and I just LOVE this sweet little girl with her cotton candy.

I found this paper at Ross of all places, a stack called Family Outings by Momenta.  (I was there to get shoes but this paper fell into my arms instead. Who need shoes anyway!)  The carnival themed paper seemed like is was made just for this stamp.

She is colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  The sentiment stamp "Admit One" is from the same stamp set.

Happy Friday!

Meow! New Peachy Keen Stamps for August

Hello! I am sharing some cards today made with the New stamps from Peachy Keen.  They will be available for purchase at the Peachy Keen Store, August 5.  This is a great collection for pet lovers.. you might even think it is raining Cats and Dogs.

My first card was made with sentiments and a sweet kitty from the Peachy Keen Stamp Club set. You can buy sets separately or save each  month when you join the club.  I gave the kitty a ruffle collar and added the party hat from the stamp kit.

For my next card, I used one of the add on sets, PK-1333 Faceless Puppy and Faceless Kitten.  I colored him gray like my cat. (Who has only killed birds in his mind... ha ha.)  I love the "devilish" face on the cat.
