Easy Candy Box Sleeve

These are a last minute Halloween treat for my girls to give their friends at school.  (because I am sure they won't get any candy this weekend- sorry moms)  I used rock princess for the skull cut.

MPS, Pink, Purple, Green, and 30 min Callenge

I was able to make this card with scrap paper.  The butterfly cut is from Create a Critter, I love the way that cartridge layers.  I made this birthday card in 20 minutes, and that included gluing the card face to the envelope front.  I was able to pry it off and put in on the card front. :)

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #4, Boo!

This was a fun challenge requesting a Halloween project that used at least 2 cuts and a transparent element.  I used Sweet Treats to cut my favor box and Mini Monsters for the sweet little pumpkin.  I cut vellum for the pumpkin leaf.  The handle is made from the plastic net that you buy oranges in at the grocery store.

Sport Theme Throw Back Thursday Challenge

This card was made for Emma's Throw Back Thursday Challenge using the Sports Mania cartridge.   I have Emma's cute blinkie on my sidebar if you would like to check her blog out.  I must admit this card is not my favorite... sometimes you make something and it doesn't turn out so great.  So, on to the next creation!  It is only paper.

Halloween Exploding Box

This cute Halloween decoration was inspired by Kathy's Exploding House at http://paperphenomenon.blogspot.com/ and Lisa's Barn Project at http://bugjunkie.blogspot.com/.  My twist was to add a different roof to my exploding box.  I was admiring my daughter's 3-D haunted house from the Happy Hauntings cartridge and thought the tower piece would make a great roof for my house.  I cut the tower at 14 inches and that seemed to fit a 4 inch square box lid nicely.  If you peek inside the roof window, a skull and kitty are making their spooky presence. I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the jack-o-lantern by the front door and her spider web edge punch for the roof.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge # 3

Here is my entry for the second weekly challenge. The challenge was to use 2 cuts, texture, and the following colors: orange, tan, gray, and burgundy.  I thought it would be fun to make a wrap for a wine bottle with a turkey on it for thanksgiving.  The turkey and shadow were cut at 4 inches.  Mr. Turkey's hat came from Designer's Calendar as did the turkey.  The hang tag on the bottle and circle scallops on the wrapper are from Gypsy Wanderings.

3-D Happy Hauntings House with Baby Bug

This project was ALL cut by my 8 year old daughter on a baby bug!  She cut a 5.5 inches and I think it turned out wonderful.  The paper was cheap but I think it adds to the character of the old house.  If you would like to make one, I recommend using Scotch Quick Dry Glue.

My Creative Time Throw Back Challenge

Here is my tiger kitty card for Emma's Challenge at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/.  Don't you want to be her friend Fur-Ever?  The challenge was to take your Everyday Paperdoll cricut cartridge and select an animal for a project.  I did not have a good face stamp for this kitty so I drew them myself.  The sentiment stamp is from MPS Punny-licious set.

Seasonal Candy Jar Topper I, Cricut Circle Monthy Challenge Entry

Here is my entry for the Cricut Circle Blog's Monthly Challenge.  Their challenge was to design a scrapbook page or home decoration project with the theme "Celebrating Creativity".  I didn't know what to make.  I wasn't going to enter the challenge because I could not think of anything to make.  Then I had some inspiration while shopping.  I thought this candy jar needed to be decorated  with a seasonal topper.  And don't stop there, I plan to make one for every season.  I can just picture switching the color on the sunflower to reds and it can be a poinsettia for Christmas.  So, look forward to more candy jar toppers because I am on a creative roll with this idea.

Miss Skunk is ready for the Throwback Thursday Challenge

Here is Miss Skunk with her orange polka-dot bow ready to party.  She is stinkin cute!  Wouldn't you agree?  She is made from Create A Critter and was made for a challenge that Emma is holding on her blog,
http://www.creativetimeforme.com.  The Challenge was to make a shape card with Create A Critter and add some orange to the mix.  I used my pink stamper stamp set Punny-licious.

The Sadow Box had Babies

I had extra parts from my shadow box so I made these mini shadow boxes for Peachy Keen Stamps' Challenge #38.  The challenge was and October theme, no cards.  The ghost's face is from PK-570 and the eyes on the multi-eyed slimey monster are from PK-754.  All images were cut from my cricut.  The cuts are popped up with clear plastic packaging.  I like how they appear to float in the boxes.

Halloween Shadow Box

Here is another project over at http://paperphenomenon.blogspot.com  .  Kathy really thought outside the box on this project.  It was fun to make.  So much fun because I kept putting it together upside down.  I cannot tell you how many layers of paper are on the cover.  The 3-D objects were found at the local 99 cent store.  My important "eye of newt" bottle was formally a container for embossing powder.  Super fun project!  You should make one or use the idea for other seasons or special memories.

Backpack Mini Album x 3

These cute backpack mini albums are made from lunch bags, chipboard, paper, cricut machine cuts, and HOT GLUE BABY.  The design is from Kathy at  http://paperphenomenon.blogspot.com/   Kathy is my hot glue guru.  Someday I will not burn myself with the darn hot glue.   I chopped the spine off of Kathy's pattern  because I could not get the pages to lay flat when they were open.   The lunch boxes were made with each girl in mind.  Peace, Love, and Music cut is from Rock Princess and is on a purple lunch box.  Another lunch box has Sponge Bob on the front..  There is a pink lunch box that is not photographed that has a pink butterfly for a gal who loves pink.

pocket has locker tags that fold open and a "school id"

The pencil is a flap and connects to a mat that slides into the lunch bag pockets.  The bus and sandwich are made the same way

Peanut butter and grape (stickle) jelly added to sandwich.  A cow stamp is on the milk carton

this shows that base of the book after it's spine removal, ouch!

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge, Dear Santa

Here is my scrapbook page for the Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge.  The challenge was to use 2 cuts, a shadow cut, bling, and the French Manor cartridge.  French Manor- window and window layer @ 6.5 inch, stamp boarder @ 1 inch (make 4, flipping 2 and welding to make frame).  Winter Frolic- Santa, phrase and phrase shadow @ 3 inch.  Martha Stewart Branch punch was used for the greens on Santa's house.  I used a Christmas card front for the Santa that is peeking out of his French Manor window.  Don't tell my dog, but it looks like Santa has an orange cat sitting by the fire.
