Halloween House Treat Box

Happy Monday! Looking for a last minute Halloween idea? These Halloween Boxes I made for my girls are in a kit from SVG cuts called "Gimme Candy Boxes" and are very easy to cut and assemble. With so much candy in their future I thought it would be fun to put Halloween socks in these favor boxes. The boxes are decorated with the adorable PK-131 Happy Haunting Ghosts and cut an electric die cutter using the matching SVG set, PK-SVG-131.  The Roof was stamped with a background stamp, PK-298 Grampas Pajamas.  The roof was embossed with white and a little distress ink was applied on the roof too.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and Have a Happy Haunting on October 31!

This Way for Candy

I just finished making this sign for my front porch.  Oh, ya, I have candy in the house but I dare not open the bag until October 31. I cut all the shapes with the new Trick or Treat cartridge from Cricut. The arrow and "this way" are from Twinkle Toes.  The base is a sign that I picked up at M's and just splattered white paint on the black base.  This is project is for a  Wall Art challenge at Peachy Keen this week.  Check out the details at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog, and be sure to link your project by 10/31 CST.
I love the grin on the devil.. he he

Skipping By to say hi!

Happy Friday! I have a quick card to share that I made for a co-worker.  She is recovering from knee surgery and I think she will get a kick out of this card...  I picked up the SVG cut file at the Peachy Keen Store to match the stamp.  Super Easy!

Cornie Faced Candy Corn

Yay! I am enjoying this weekend crafting... I just made this candy corn box for my candy corn lovin' sister. I thought she would enjoy this little treat for her birthday.  The cut is on sale at the silhouette store for a limited time, Candy Corn Box.  The cut comes with a "ric rac" piece to cut but I switched the paper for some real ric rac and added a bow.

Counting Sheep

Hello- Fantabulous Cricut Monday's Challenge this week is to make a project with a farm animal Cricut cut. I was looking through my Cricut Imagine booklets and saw this adorable Sheep image in the Hey Diddle Diddle cartridge.  My niece just had a little girl and I though I would make something for her to hang in her baby's nursery.

Happy Hauntings

Good Morning- I just finished a Halloween Scrapbook page featuring one of my new Cricut Cartridges, A Frightful Affair. Poor grave keeper, someone does not want to stay in the grave tonight.  A photo of this years trick-or-treaters will tuck behind the fence and tree to make the page complete.

Monster Mash Tree

Happy Friday! That means it is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge.  This week it is a color challenge.  Check out the details at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.  Be sure to link your project up by October 17 at 11:59 pm EST. The base for this project is a wire tree that I picked up at Joann's. Monsters are cut with the Bump in the Night Cricut cartridge.  Their faces are from PK-691 Make A Monster Face and PKSC-09.  I pulled card stock colors from the photo inspiration and found some paper button mum flowers to put on the base.

Spooky Tree

This was so fun to color! The stamp is called Halloween Holler Spooky Tree and Cat and is available at Peachy Keen Stamps.  The artist, Steve Yarbrough, shaded this stamp so nicely making the coloring process a joy.  I colored this stamp with Loew Cornell Soft Pastels.  Pastels are very easy to blend and are not a big investment. (I purchased mine at Joann's Clearnace for $3.97 for 48 colors!)  I will be linking this project at Peachy Keen Stamps' Anything Goes Challenge.

Witch Card and Hat Treat Holder

Did you make it to the Peachy Keen Stamps' Release Party? I raced home from work (at a snails pace thanks to Los Angeles traffic) just in time to say bye.  I wanted to share my projects I made for the challenges Peachy Keen is hosting at their Ning site, The Peachy Keen Connection

The First Challenge is a "3-2-1" challenge,  3 buttons, 2 pattern paper, and 1 ribbon.  I made a Halloween card.  I found this adorable witch at the silhouette store and added Peachy Keen faces to her and her little cat too!  I love the expression on the cat.  It is hard to look spooky when you are so cute!

Sentiment - SY-909 Got Treats Scarecrow
For the Second Challenge, make a project with a Peachy Keen Background stamp.  (If you don't own one yet, make your own back ground stamp using the PK stamps you own.)  Taking a cue from the witches hat on my card, I made these lollipop holders.  They have a flower and "Boo!" on the hat band just like my card.  The cut is a FREE cut from Svg Cuts, Witch Hat Lollipop Holder

I hope you have some crafting time this weekend, I would love to see what YOU make for the challenges.  (be sure to link up by October 8, 11:59 CDT) AND you might even win some stamps too!

Peachy Keen Sneak Peak II

Good Morning! I have another project made with the Peachy Keen October Stamp of the Month set.  I colored the turkey with copic markers and made a tag with a sentiment from the set. I cut a small feather and glued it on the turkey's head.  The buttons are covered with paper from a small circle punch and stamped with an acorn stamp.  It will be fun to see this wine bottle at my Thanksgiving table this year.  (Although... my family enjoys a lot wine, I might have to decorate a wine box too, LOL)

Be sure to join Peachy Keen this Friday, 6 CST, at the Peachy Keen Release Party at the Peachy Keen Connection.  There will be more creative ideas, fun, chat, and some challenges to enter! I hope you can make it

Peachy Keen Stamps October Sneak Peek

Good morning! Today I have an acorn tag I made with the October Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month Club stamp set to share. You can join the club and have the stamps delivered to your door (and save some money too) or you can purchase individual sets at the Peachy Keen Store. The fall themed set is perfect for this time of the year. This adorable acorn stamp is "face-less" but the stamp kit has several faces that go perfectly on the acorn.  The acorn box and leaves are from svg cuts, Acorn Autumn SVG Kit.  I think Peachy Keen acorn and sentiment is the perfect touch to this box.

Be sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Blog this week to see all the beautiful projects the Design Team has made with these quality stamps.

Peachy Keen Challenge 37

This week's challenge is to make a card or layout following the provided sketch.  Design must be new and linked to the blog by 10/03, 11:59 EDT.  For my card, I used one of the pumpkin cuts on the Mini Monster Cricut Cartridge cut at 2 1/2 inches.  The pumpkin's face is from PK-691 Make a Monster Face. I think he looks cute with the sentiment that was a free gift stamp at the last sale.  Hope to see your project at the Challenge Blog :)
