Peachy Sketch Challenge 27

Happy Friday! There is a new Peachy Keen Challenge and this week it is a sketch challenge! Make a card or layout with your Peachy Keen Stamps.  Your project must be new and linked up by 7/25, 11:59 PM, EST.  You can see the sketch and the Design Team's inspiration, here.

Here is my layout using the sketch.  The cheerleader's face is from PK-590 Blushing Bride Interchangeable Faces.  I made a journal card to tuck behind the photo and put "You are always in 1st Place with me!" from PKSC-05 on the top. My daughter was sad that her team did not place high in their competition.  I am just proud of her for having the guts to perform in front of such a large crowd! Aw, she is 1st Place with me!

Cricut Circle Art Inspiration Challenge

For National Scrapbook Day the Cricut Circle Blog has some great Challenges.  This challenge they wanted you to make a project inspired by a piece of art.  I was drawn the the rose and the shabby chic design.  I cut the bag with my Cricut Imagine from the Imagine More Cards.  I cut a tag from Jubilee (because I feel sorry for that cartridge... it is cute... I should use it more.) And added a tag on top from layers on a tag from the Imagine More Cards.  The rose was cut from Flower Shoppe with tan cardstock and inked the edges of the rose so match the design on the paper.

Home Sweet Homes Picture Frame

My Creative Time has a Throwback Challenge this week to create a 3-D project with any older Cricut cartridge.  I had this idea to make a frame made with house shapes that features my family.  I broke out my Jubilee cartridge for this project.  I love the house shapes and these fantastic banners are PERFECT for my new stamp set, My Favorite Sayings.  (I even got the bonus stamp with my order, yippee!)

Cricut Cirlcle Weekly Challenge #9, Black Friday

This weeks challenge was to re-use something, at least 2 cuts, and use the color black.  I picked up this pine cone from my front yard.  (at times I think it is raining pine cones in my yard)  I put a little house and trees cut from Winter Woodland on a base of fabric.  I covered the house and trees with glitter.  Holly leaves are from Jubilee.  The little snowman has a BLACK hat and I made the snowman with beads and a circle cut for the hat brim.
