Sweet Ice Cream & Bean

Red, White, Blue and Ribbon is this week's challenge at The Greeting Farm.
My TGF image is a clear stamp Twinkle Bean.
I love her hair as it reminds me of ice cream. (or maybe I am hungry)
She has stars in her hair but I opted to add some flowers
to make her "more sweet".
I used my Cricut to cut the cone and the title "sweet".
I love this color combo and it does not always have to be for a patriotic card.

Thanks for stopping by today-

Happy Kitty Card

I just love this cat stamp! (shhh... don't tell my dog.)  I followed a sketch at Fun n Flair Stamps, which is hosting their first challenge.  Their design team has some adorable projects too!  This cat stamp is in the "Miss Shayla at Christmas Time Stamp Set".  She sure is enjoying life...

Monster Mash Tree

Happy Friday! That means it is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge.  This week it is a color challenge.  Check out the details at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.  Be sure to link your project up by October 17 at 11:59 pm EST. The base for this project is a wire tree that I picked up at Joann's. Monsters are cut with the Bump in the Night Cricut cartridge.  Their faces are from PK-691 Make A Monster Face and PKSC-09.  I pulled card stock colors from the photo inspiration and found some paper button mum flowers to put on the base.

Sweet Birthday Card

For the Cricut Circle's Magazine Challenge, they would like you to follow one of the sketches in the magazine or the blog.  I picked a sketch in the November issue by Shantaie Fowler.  Here is the sketch:
For my card, I used the ice cream cone, scalloped shape, and circle shape from Something to Celebrate. (I do have some new cartridges but keep using my Something to Celebrate.)  The sentiment is from Birthday Bash.  The face is from Peachy Keen, PKSC-03 March 2012 and the sentiment stamp "High Five" is from Peachy Keen, PK-564 Team Work.
Love that sweet cone... with his sprinkles on top!

Peachy Keen Challenge #7

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.  Create a card or layout of your choice following the sketch provided at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.  I enjoy following the sketches because the design has been done for you.  For my layout, I used the face stamp and sentiments for January Stamp of the Month collection.  I love how happy my girl die cut looks... 'cause she has PURPLE bows just like my daughter. Be sure to enter your project by March 7.  I would love to see your take on the sketch.

She is so cute,
I just want to pinch her paper cheeks, LOL

St. Pat's Gift Holder

Here is a pillow box for a St. Pat's Day Gift and I will be entering this project at the Cricut Circle's Monthly Challenge too. (shh... I have some green socks inside for my daughter.)  This pillow box is a Cricut cut from Something to Celebrate and the leprechaun is from Simply Charmed.  His face and sentiment stamps are from the Peachy Keen's February Stamp of the Month collection.  The leprechaun can actually "dance a little jig" because he is on an action wobble (It is a spring with adhesive on both sides so you can apply to your project).  So cute in person!

Day 8, MPS 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Day 8's  challenge is to try something NEW.  I wanted to try a rosette cut on my cricut machine.  There is a cartridge dedicated to rosettes but I found some on Something to Celebrate.  I am not a fan on the "score lines" and often hide them on my Gypsy.  But I cut this with score lines at 2 in.  It folded like a dream and I could just fold in my hand... no score board necessary.  My daughter has her eye on this fabulous ribbon.  I think we will make some together today.  (Because I will wear this to make me feel special while I clean the house, he, he.)
Fabulous! sentiment from Family and Friends set by My Pink Stamper

Let's Face It Friday, Fabric Challenge

This card is from Something to Celebrate Cricut Cartridge... but she is sporting her Peachy Keen face.  To my Peachy Keen stamps friends, I did buy some NEW stamps.  Sorry I keep using the same ones, but the PK-640 Princess Face Assortment is perfect for this cut.  Her scarf is made from fabric and I just love the texture it adds to the card.

Present Time

This week at Fantabulous Cricut, the Challenge is make a gift, create something with which to package a gift, or use a gift cut on your project.  I decided to decorate a gift box for a white elephant gift exchange.  The bow is from Something to Celebrate.  Pine cones are cut from Flower Shoppe using the heart shaped edge spiral cut and rolled in a cone shape on a  tooth pic.  The pine cone silhouette tag is from Joys of the Season. Who would know there is the ugliest snowman pin with devil eyes all wrapped up on the inside, (he, he).
