Love Birds

Good Morning! I am playing along at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. The Challenge is to use a Cricut bird cut on your project. Since I have a wedding to attend soon, I thought these love birds from Sweethearts would be perfect.  They are on a card base from TBBM 2. (that cartridge has a lot of card bases)  

This card was cut with the Cricut Explore... I am so impressed with this machine!

Jungle Party Card

This monkey from Sweethearts Cricut cartrige is swinging in the jungle.  He is on a "vine" ribbon and is attached to a palm tree.  The cloud background is a stamp from Peacky Keen, PK-107 Cloudy Day.  I am so glad to have this stamp in my collection for outdoor (or jungle) scenes.

This set has seperate eyes and mouths... which makes it easy to customized
your die cuts.  I just added nostrils with a marker.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #4, Birthday Sketch

The Cricut Circle, or as I call it Cricut Club to people that are not into Cricut, asked us to follow a sketch.  I have never used a sketch and found it to be rather nice.  I helps you to get right down to creating because you have a map to follow.  You  must use 2 cuts and incorporate buttons.  My buttons are the "sprinkles" on the cupcake.  I was thrilled to find the mini buttons is my cropper hopper embellishment box.  I have no idea when I got them...  which is kinda scary.  Anyway, here is the layout I created.  It is of my sweet gals and puppy at the puppy's birthday party.
