Cup of Tea

Hello! I made this tea cup card for a Color Challenge at the Imaginisce blog. Here are the colors to work with:

For my project, the pattern paper is from the Good Dog paper collection. I was attracted to this paper because of the adorable dog images. The tea cup card is from the Silhouette online store, 3 piece tea cup card.

Happy Friday and welcome to another Peachy Keen Challenge.  This week's Challenge is ANYTHING GOES! Create a new project with your Peachy Keen Stamps and  link to the
PK Challenge Blog by 11/14 - 11:59 pm EST.
For my scrapbook page, I stamped the adorable elves from the new Peachy Keen Stamp Club set, PKSC-11.  They are colored with Copic markers that would complement the paper from Echo Park's Holly Jolly paper line.  These Peachy Keen elves are the perfect pair to my sweetheart gals.

Peachy Keen Sneak Peak II

Good Morning! I have another project made with the Peachy Keen October Stamp of the Month set.  I colored the turkey with copic markers and made a tag with a sentiment from the set. I cut a small feather and glued it on the turkey's head.  The buttons are covered with paper from a small circle punch and stamped with an acorn stamp.  It will be fun to see this wine bottle at my Thanksgiving table this year.  (Although... my family enjoys a lot wine, I might have to decorate a wine box too, LOL)

Be sure to join Peachy Keen this Friday, 6 CST, at the Peachy Keen Release Party at the Peachy Keen Connection.  There will be more creative ideas, fun, chat, and some challenges to enter! I hope you can make it

Miss Shayla's Christmas Treat Bag

Hello! I wanted to share my Christmas Treat Bag that I just made. I colored the image last night and just cut the bag after work today. The plan is to make a custom "Miss Shayla" girl for my daughter's friends. She was so fun to color! There is a sweet mouse and cat in this collection of stamps that would work all year round. You can purchase this 21 piece stamp set at Peachy Keen Stamps or the
at the Australian Artist Selina Shelton's site:papercraftswithfunnflair. And both sites have this stamp set on sale right now...

Summertime

Summer? That sure went fast!  This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is to make a project about summer.  I have not made a scrapbook page in a while, so I thought it would be fun to print some wallet sized photos of this summer.  The photos are on mats from Elegant edges and embellished with cuts from April Showers,  Mickey & Friends, and 3 Birds on Parade.  The papers, gems, ribbons are from the Webster's Pages.

Springtime- tree, banner, cloud, "sunshine", bike

Hey Smartie!

Hello crafty friends! I just made this project with a new owl stamp from Peachy Keen's August release.  I  made this for me, but my daughter saw it and loved it! She was beaming and saying it would be her special notebook for school.  Well... school supplies are on sale...  I will have to pick one up for me.

Fore my Family

The July Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge: Create an activity or project of some sort with your Cricut products that your family can enjoy together.  My family? They love to eat and play golf.  I found this dimpled bowl at the dollar store and it reminds me of a golf ball.  I made the golf paper doll from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, along with some accessories. "Fore" was welded on my Gypsy with the Jubilee font. The base is from Elegant Edges cartridge.  The golf tees can be removed so you can remove the tag and wash the bowl.

Cloud Background: PK-107 Cloudy Day

My Kitty Friends

These sweet kitty cats are my friend Teresa's cats, George and Six.  I have to admit, if I could own a cat I would love to have an orange tabby cat just like these playful  cats.  My dog Ranger is not friendly with cats nor are the nasty coyotes that patrol our neighborhood. Eeek!

I created this scrapbook page to enter into the Color Challenge this week at Peachy Keen's Challenge Blog.  There is a nice stamp set with sentiments and three peachy faces up for grabs for the winner. I used the new kitty PK-111 Here Kitty Kitty stamps to make my "paper" versions of Kitty George and Kitty Six.  The cats are from Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge and I really like the added personality these stamps give to very basic die cuts.

I love Golf

Well at least my dad and brother do.  My brother took these pictures when our dad was visiting.  I thought these photos would be perfect to make a scrapbook page for a Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge.
The Challenge: Create a scrapbook page, card, home decor item, or other project where you include a word of your choice. One or more of the letters in your chosen word must be replaced by a Cricut shape. For example, replace the letter “o” in the word LOVE with a heart. With the Cricut Everyday Paperdolls Cartridge, I made all the golf themed items.  I replaced the "o" with a golf ball and ran that through my cuttlebug to give the ball the dimples.
The face stamp is PK-493 Everyday Character Face Parts

Saint Patrick's Day Treat Box

I made a Saint Patrick's Day Treat Box using my new Peachy Keen stamp set, Kiss Me Leprechaun.  I place the leprechaun on a "milk carton" that I cut with my Cricut.  The shamrock pattern paper started off at just plain tan card stock.  I used the Lucky Day Shamrock A2 size background stamp to add all those cute shamrocks.

Cricut Cuts:
Milk Carton (hide the windows)- Sweet Tooth Boxes, cut at 10 in
Clover- Give a Hoot, cut at 3 in

Love Frame

It is challenge me Monday again at the Fantabulous Cricut blog.  For this challenge use a label shape other than a plain circle.  For my frame I used Elegant Edges and layered the shape so it would be sturdy. "Love" is from Sweethearts cricut cartridge.  The angel is a stamp set from Peachy Keen, PKSC-01 January 2012.  The wings are at the $1.50 bins at Micheals and I like the vintage feel they give the angel.

Count Your Blessings

The Cricut Circle's January Challenge is to create a scrapbook page or mini album reviewing the year 2011.  I will have say 2011 is a year that I am glad is behind me.  Not wanting to make a project with the major events of 2011 for me, I decided to "Count My Blessings".  I am very blessed with a loving husband, children that are very dear to  me, a best friend I met in pre-school, and my sweet dachshund who always is there to listen to me.

This mini book base is from Elegant Edges and title is from Country Life.  Flower cuts are from Paisley. The book is embellished with journal tags from K & Company Amy Butler Lotus Tea Box die cuts, and Imagine More Cartridge.

Flowers Centers are handmade covered brads stamped
with PK-570 Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment.

This die cut reminded me of me and my buddy Kay.

A card for Cookie

Create a card OR layout based on the sketch provided at Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #64.  I enjoy making custom cards for someone special.  My girls have a great Aunt Cookie, a former teacher, who often sends them a BOX of books.  We just got a shipment on Wednesday, so I know she will be looking for a thank you card-

2012 Desk Calendar

This started with a sketch which I thought would make a nice calendar.  The sketch appeared in the Cricut Circle's exclusive magazine that offered a challenge to use the sketch with your Cricut.  The base started as a piece of 12 by 12 piece of chipboard.  I cut this to 6 by 12 and folded this in half cutting some box lids from Sweet Tooth Boxes at 11.25 inches that fit on the ends.  Two binder rings are used to hold the calendar pages and I weighted the inside of the base with sand sealed in a plastic bag.  Each month has tag with its name on it that can be pulled out to keep track of important dates.
These months follow the sketch, February more closely.  Seasonal Cuts are from Simply Charmed, the USA hat is from Independence day

Pumpkin Time

It is time for another weekly challenge at Fantabulous Cricut.  For this Challenge you must include a pumpkin on your project.  I used Mini Monters for the princess, page title, and pumpkins. My Journal tag was made with the Imagine and Imagine More cartridge.  Elegant edges cartridge was used for the rest of the cuts.
