A Card without Cricut, GASP!
The card was made for My Creative Time with Emma's blog challenge. Emma requested us to make a card without electronic gadgets. I almost did not want to participate, No Cricut, No Gypsy... WHY? I must admit once I got rolling it was not as traumatic as I thought it would be. I grabbed some pre-cut scalloped paper and matted a Me and My BIG ideas sticker. Add some ribbon and a My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasion stamp and the card was complete.
Slumber Party Chick
This card was made for "My Pink Stamper's" challenge. The challenge was to make a card with a bird on it. This seemed like the perfect way to use my newer cartridge "3 Birds on Parade". I cut out the dreamer chick and gave her pillow from "Every Day Paper doll". The slumber party sign from the "Slumber Party" cartridge. She is ready to party with her bling flower night cap and flocked pink slippers.

A Coffin of Cuties
I got this little coffin at Micheal's and made a mini out of card stock to go inside. The paper and stickers are from K and Co. The mini is a coffin shape that I welded together on my Gypsy and cut with my Cricut. There is a small plastic skull that is in the base of the coffin to keep the mini album from sinking down.

Throw Back Thurday Challenge
Here is a card I made for "My Creative Time" with Emma's Challenge. The challenge was for you to be original with one of your older Cricut cartridges. I made this card with Doodlecharms, it was the first cartridge I purchased. I thought at the time this will be the only cartridge I need! (pause for laughter) I used the border function for the pumpkins. To carve the faces on my pumpkins, I used my Gypsy and grabbed pumpkin faces from A Child's Year and Gypsy Wanderings. The third pumpkin has a combo of the two faces. You have to love that hide contour feature on the Gypsy. The pumpkins are embellished with copic marker, bling, glitter paper, and baker's twine from Martha Stewart. (I would call it green string because I am not as fancy as Martha)

A Tale of Two Baby Albums
This baby album is inspired by Laura's Baby Album featured on her bog "The Paper Trail." (as a matter of fact, it is VERY similar except I used my cricut to cut the embellishments out) Laura's paper crafts are just beautiful so check her out. My idea was to make one album for myself and while I'm at it, make one for my dear sister. BUT I decided they are too cute, I am keeping them both! I have two girls and thought if I mixed up their pictures in one album you would not be able to tell them apart. Maybe I will put together an album for dear sister that is not so girly because she had a boy and two girls. Yes, I am doing dear sister a favor by keeping both albums.
I put some notes on the bottom of the slide show to inform you what carts were used. The inside paper is from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack, and an older DCWV Spring Stack for the cover. I did not have Laura's pattern, so I just made my own. The pages inside the "diaper bag" cover are pockets that have tags inside. My paper was not double sided, so I stamped a design on the part that would show. Wire ribbon was used for the handles. I cut a paper cross from the Easter cartridge and glued this to a Tim Holtz fragment charm to hang on the handle.
Now, all I need to do if find some pictures of my sweet baby girls!
