My Creative Time has a Throwback Challenge this week to create a 3-D project with any older Cricut cartridge. I had this idea to make a frame made with house shapes that features my family. I broke out my Jubilee cartridge for this project. I love the house shapes and these fantastic banners are PERFECT for my new stamp set, My Favorite Sayings. (I even got the bonus stamp with my order, yippee!)

Mom and Me Challenge
I am the youngest child in my family... what that means is there are not many of pictures of me from my childhood. Yes, if you were born before the invention of the digital camera, this might be your story too. The Cricut Circle is running a challenge this week to scrapbook a page about you and your mom. My mom died when I was in my early twenties which still can bring me to tears today. Sometimes I wonder if she would be crafting with her Cricut with me as she was VERY creative. SO, travel back to 1967 with me to remember my dear mom.

Happy Easter Basket
This Easter Mini Album was the brain child of Kathy at Paper Phenomenon. The inside of my box has traditional mats while Kathy has added lots of flaps, foldouts and interaction. My photo mats are decorated with my Cricut using Easter 2010 and Kate's ABCs cartridges.

Spring Candy Jar
I can't believe how fast this week is going... was busy making an Easter project when I realized it was Thursday and I have not made my Handmade flowers for the Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge. This would be perfect for a Mother's Day gift for any "Mom" like person in your life. I used Give a Hoot cartridge to cut several 5 petal flowers and leaves.

Fresh as a Daisy Purse
Can you believe this purse was made with 3 recycled items? Yep, grab your used dryer sheets, gift basket filler, kids craft package (the purse was a key chain kit from the 99 cent store), and you can make this purse. If you don't have a purse to recycle, you could cut a purse from the Forever Young cricut cartridge. This is my entry for the April Monthly Challenge at the Cricut Circle. The challenge: Repurpose 3 items and include at least 2 cricut cuts on your project. This purse would be ideal for a gift card or note cards.

The Magical Toilet Paper Fairy
Do you believe in the T.P. Fairy? My Children do! I find it so annoying to visit the bathroom and see the empty cardboard spool. Grrrr. I had this thought that my kids must think it is magic that toilet paper appears in the bathroom. This is a challenge entry at the Cricut Circle that required you to make a scrapbook page about something that bugs you. Oh, I think I could fill an whole album... but I will spare you that.

A Very Merry Unbirthday!
Unless it is your birthday... then Happy Birthday! I just love Alice in Wonderland and have wanted to do a scrapbook page with an Alice theme. Our family went to Disneyland a few Sundays ago and we took these pictures in front of the Mad Hatter's Hat shop. I usually "sketch" my layouts in my Gypsy but made a hand sketch of this one so I could enter this project in the Cricut Circle's Weekly Challenge. They asked us to provide a sketch and a project, how simple is that. I wanted my page to have a wacky feel so I anchored my embellishments with a "groovy" shape from Nifty Fifties Cartridge.
