You're a Peach!
Hello- I just saw that Fantabulous Cricut is having a challenge "Fun with Puns". Puns are my favorite to use on a card. This card is the peach card on Wild Card 2. For some reason, this cartridge has been neglected by me. Poor Wild Card 2! To make my card a little unique, I added a face stamp from Peachy Keen, PK-182 Sweet and Silly Face Assortment.
Have a Peachy Week :-)

Bunny Banner
Hello crafty friends. I just updated my banner frame with a spring theme. The spring kit April Avenue is so cute, I knew it be perfect for my spring projects. Banner tags are premade and covered with patterned paper. The edges of the tags are trimmed with On the Edge dies from Sizzix. The rabbit's faces are stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-751 Animal Faces. A black marker was used to add eyelashes to create a girl bunny face.
The "happy spring" banner tag was made with the label cut. Petals from the yellow daffodil flowers in the kit were cut in blue, to make small trumpet flowers. |
I hope you enjoyed my project today. This is my challenge entry for the SVGcuts Spring Challenge. Challenge information is at the SVGcuts Facebook page.

O Easter Tree!
Happy Friday! There is a new Peachy Keen Challenge up on the blog. Create a 3D object of your choice following the theme Metal. Use metallic ink, a metallic look, or you can actually use something metal on your project. Be sure to link up your new project by 2/27/13. I found this metal tree at Micheal's and thought it would be fun to decorate. The cuts are from Create A Critter 2 and are about 3 inches tall. Since the back would be visible, I cut another layer for the back. The rabbits have little pom pom tails and chicks have feather tails to add interest. Peachy Keen's stamp set, PK-754 Critter Faces was used for the animal and flower faces. The butterfly faces were stamped with PK-180 Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment. Love the "buggy eyes" on this new set.
I hope you like my project today. Be sure to check out the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog for more projects ideas from the design team.
OH yes, my tree has an Easter Bunny Dachshund. "Happy Easter" sentiment if from PK-263 Springtime Minis |

Happy Spring!
I just picked up a digital stamp, My Chickadee, and she is so darn cute had to make a card. The egg card is from the SVG cuts kit, April Avenue. The egg was converted into a shape card by making a shadow of the egg and welding the two pieces together. This is really easy to do if you own a Cameo. I will be entering this card in the shape card challenge at Fun 'n' Fair Stamps.

Lovely Heart
Hello- Just a quick post with a Lovely Bean Girl by the Greeting Farm. I will be entering her in the challenge at the Greeting Farm Blog, Buttons and Twine. She is on a base heart card from the Wild Card Cricut cut at 5 inches. A heart was hand stitched with twine and the sentiment is included in the Lovely Bean clear stamp. (I masked off the images I did not want) I think she is pretty darn cute.

Peachy Keen & Freckled Fawn
Good Morning! I have a project to share with you today made with Peachy Keen Stamps and product from Freckled Fawn. My gal seems to be always losing her pencils, so this pencil shaped box was born. To customize her pencils, I wrapped the end of the pencils with washi tape. I just love the yellow and cheerful pink flowers on this tape. The pencil box is decorated with a name plate and arrow wood chips. The wooden chips arrive plain, but I used pink chalk ink to dye them to match the washi tape. I hope your enjoy my project today, and be sure to check out the Peachy Keen Blog for more projects made with Peachy Keen Stamps and Freckled Fawn.

Sweets for My Sweet
Hello! Hope you are having a great weekend. I just finished this Valentine box for my "sweet". The paper is from Echo Park, Love Story. The box and flower are from the Silhouette Online Store and cut with my Cameo. I used a stylus to train the paper to curl like a real flower. The tag is from the Love Story paper collection plus a sentiment from Fun 'n' Flair Stamps, It's All About Love.
I will be adding this box over at the Fun 'n' Flair blog. If you are looking for more treat box ideas, check out the design team's projects. I love that owl box in the post.

Love Mooo
My obsession with shaped cards continues. I thought this "love cow" at the Silhouette Online Store was perfect for my daughter who drinks Tru Moo Chocolate Milk like it is going out of style. To made the card a shape card, I just took the base image and welded a rectangle to join a reverse image. The eyelashes are from Peachy Keen, PK-136. AND this adorable font stamp set for the "Moo" is from PK-156 Lucy's ABC's and 123's. I will be posting this at Peachy Keen's Anything Goes Challenge. I hope you have time to link up your new project using Peachy Keen Stamps.

Whoo loves you Treat Topper
Hi crafty friends. There is a fun challenge going on at Fun 'n' Flair Stamps. For this challenge, make a treat bag topper. Perfect timing to make a little Valentine gift. The owl is from Create A Critter 2. I just love the way that cartridge layers. I used my new stamp set from Fun 'n' Flair stamps, It's All About Love. If you have not picked up any Fun 'n' Flair Stamps of your own... JUMP on this chance to buy a digital stamp. Oh MY Goodness... the cutest cupid is one sale, Shayla Goes Cupid Digital Set. I ordered this stamp and will be coloring this cutie this weekend. Here is my treat bag for the challenge, I hope to see your project at the challenge too.
The stamped hearts on the wings and the sentiment are from FNF-04 It's All About Love |
New Peachy Keen Stamps and Challenges!
There are two fun challenges at the Peachy Keen Connection. You don't want to miss out a chance to win a $25 gift certificate at the Peachy Keen Store. (you might enjoy shopping because there is a week long sale)
The first challenge, use your own Peachy Keen Stamps to make a project and use stripes and polka dots. I made this favor box, a cut from the silhouette store. The "gear shape" is from the new PKSC-14. The face and sentiment are from the PK-173 Great Vibes Robots.
The second challenge is a monochromatic challenge. I picked my favorite color yellow and used stamps from the PKSC-14. This card base was also at the silhouette store.
I hope you can play along, be sure to link your projects by February 10.

Koala Love
Happy Monday! This sweet koala bear shape card was made with Create A Critter 2. Using my Gypsy, I welded the shadow shape for the base. The gorgeous eyes are stamps from Peachy Keen. (PK-136 Large Bear Facial Features) Her heart is decorated with Fun 'n' Flair Stamps FNF-04 It is All About Love. Her flower on her bow is punched with the Hydrangea Punch from Martha Stewart.
The colors of this card are from this week's Peachy Keen's Color Challenge. The soft grays made me think of a Koala Bear. Strange but true. I will also be joining the Challenge at Fantabulous Cricut this week with this card. Their challenge is to make a card with your Cricut and use a heart cut.

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek
Hello! I have a few cards I made with the New Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month stamp set. This is a unique set with a space theme. You can sign up for an auto delivery program and save on your stamp sets or buy these set separately. You can find out about the Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month pricing, HERE.
My first card is on a circle swing base from the Silhouette Store and was cut on my Cameo. I added some sticker hearts because this springy robot is programmed for love!
I just had to make this next card with my husband in mind. We actually both worked on a project that involved launch pads. Good thing my husband had rule NOT to date people at work. HA!
I hope you enjoyed a little peak at some of the stamps. Be sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Blog for more samples of the new stamps. And mark your calendars for the release party at the Peachy Keen Connection, February 5, at 6 CST. Hope to see you there!
